Gwen works with community resources and other service providers to make certain that individuals affected by domestic violence are connected to their immediate needs: such as housing, legal assistance, counseling, financial support, Lethality Assessments, and Safety Planning. A lethality assessment is an evaluation that predicts the likelihood of serious injuries or death. Victims of domestic violence need a Safety Plan whether they are leaving, staying, or have already left. Safety Plans are personalized to meet the individual's situation to help them anticipate potential risks and proactively protect themselves and their families.
