Onslow Victims Center is dedicated to providing services and resources to all survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, including the LGBTQ+ community.
One of our services includes a 30-bed shelter that allows survivors to begin healing from their trauma in a safe, undisclosed location and begin planning for the next stage of their life free from abuse. We are able to house LGBTQ+ survivors if they are trying to leave a dangerous situation.
If you or someone you know is looking for LGBTQ+ resources in the area, please call our crisis line at 910-347-4000 and speak to an advocate about your options. Our advocates are up to date on all resources and will gladly help you get somewhere safe or point you in the direction you wish to go.
We understand that LGBTQ survivors face unique challenges when dealing with domestic violence and there are many barriers that stop them from seeking help.
We are here to help survivors overcome those challenges and support them in whatever decisions they make.
We see you and support you and all the things you are going through are valid.
