All services provided by Onslow Victims Center are free and confidential for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Our programs are designed to empower individuals, strengthen families, and offer pathways to safety, stability, and healing. We also work to educate our community, reduce risk factors, and break the cycle of violence for future generations.

Safe House
Short-term, confidential shelter for survivors and their children fleeing abuse. Includes meals, basic needs, transportation assistance, and access to support services.
Case Management
Individualized support to help survivors identify goals, develop safety plans, access critical resources, and rebuild their lives with dignity and autonomy.
Hospital & Sexual Assault Advocacy
Trained advocates respond 24/7 to hospitals and law enforcement agencies to support survivors through forensic exams, reporting, and crisis care.
Court Advocacy
Support navigating the legal system, including assistance with protective orders, court paperwork, and accompaniment during legal proceedings.
Support Groups
Monthly confidential support groups for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. These groups offer a safe space to heal, share, and connect with others who have had similar experiences.
Human Trafficking Services
Comprehensive support for survivors of labor and sex trafficking, including crisis response, emergency shelter, case management, and long-term advocacy.
Children & Family Services
Support for children and families impacted by violence. Includes parenting support, child-friendly activities, and safety planning tailored to family needs.
Safety Planning
Personalized strategies for survivors at any stage—whether staying, preparing to leave, or recovering after abuse.
Outreach & Community Engagement
Our outreach team participates in community events, resource fairs, and public presentations to connect individuals with services and build awareness. We also collaborate with schools, service providers, and local organizations to distribute information and materials throughout Onslow County.
Volunteer Opportunities
We rely on dedicated volunteers to support our mission. Opportunities include helping at community events, sorting donations at Finders Keepers, assisting with shelter needs, or providing advocacy support (with proper training).
Finders Keepers Thrift Store
Our community thrift store supports OVC programs. Survivors referred through our programs may access clothing, household goods, and other necessities free of charge.
